YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday took oath as the second Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since its bifurcation.


Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office to the 46-year-old at Vijayawada's Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium.


Jagan entered the stadium in an open Jeep with folded hands thanking people. The YSRCP got an absolute majority in the 175-membered Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly after winning 151 seats and reduced TDP to a mere 23 seats. (TDP had earlier won 102 seats)


YSRCP also won 22 out of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh in the Lok Sabha Elections.
